Currently Hurling Controllers / Mice At... Zombies in Space

A new blog entry has been added:
[drupal=376]Currently Hurling Controllers / Mice At… Zombies in Space[/drupal]

The deadly onslaught of new releases is finally winding down a bit, though our backlog of games we still need to chomp through is still about three nautical miles long. There’s no consistent gaming theme for this installment (our daily Left 4 Dead multiplayer matches notwithstanding), as people are slowly catching up on on all the games they missed in the past few months.
This week, Dann ‘SRS-Kap’ Yeung, freshly beamed over from Lionhead Studios, makes his first appearance on the blog, while Media Director Richard ‘Fluffy_gIMp’ Jolly is the first to get all Fallout 3 achievements and Splash Damage’s Captain Paul ‘Locki’ Wedgwood gives us a quickie summary of the games he’s played this year.

It’s currently all about L4D on the 360 (my bunch of buddies just find the matchmaking and team stuff much more fluid on Live). I’ve picked up Farcry 2 again in an attempt to meander through that, but I keep getting distracted by the GPS indicator telling me there’s a diamond nearby (why do they hide them on the roof so often?)

I still need to finish off Fable 2 and Fallout 3, that’s more doable now that I’ve got 100% on CoD:WaW (bloody Heart of the Reichstag). But then there’s the temptation of the new Prince of Persia on Friday (that might be a renter however, it does seem a tad on the short and easy side).

Definitely gonna check out Prince of Persia. Got so many games I need to catch up on still - Mirror’s Edge, CoD:WaW, Saints Row 2, FarCry 2, the list goes on and on.

The R4(R4DS) Cartridge is the current top-of-the-line in DS SLOT-1 flash carts. It is just an amazing little device like original DS cart size, it is a complete solution with no need to purchase any additional components or deal with any messy software and truly the easiest media enhancer you have ever done; To simply put it, this is a must have peripheral for any regular DS/DS lite owner.

I started playing the Animal Crossing: Let’s Go To The City (or City Folk) few days ago.

Actually I first bought it as a gift for my little sister and just for curiosity tested the game before wrapping it up. Result was that I had to buy another copy for my sister  and I kept the 1st one for myself.

I was sure that this game definitely would not be “my cup of tea” but for some weird reason I got totally hooked up and can’t stop returning to that silly game. Also it seems to be a great way to “meet” new people via WiFi, yesterday I had nice chat with some dude from Miami. It may be a disappointment for some but I’d recommend to at least check it out.

that could’ve been your “little” sister talking to some dude from miami lol how safe does it sound now.

Nice picture, looks like a real pro.

You are right and I am aware about the dangers of the internet but like all big N stuff this game
needs friend-codes to be exchanged one way or another before online connection can be made.
I am quite sure that the friend-codes can’t be exchanged accidentaly.

Anyway, the point of my post was to tell about one Wii title to check out, now it went kinda dirty :-/.

Been playing L4D a lot on the PC. When you get a good bunch of players together on expert it can be a lot of fun. Sadly all the friends that added me on Steam on the ETQW forums are american, any UK players here feel free to add DarkangelUK.

Yeah I was thinking about checking this out, played it a fair bit on the DS. Essentially it’s a cross between the Sims and Harvest Moon. It certainly has that self improvement RPG-esq addiction mechanic.

I’m wondering if it is much different from the DS version or not?

And don’t worry about Stealth, he’s harmless ‘enough’
