Welcome to the latest edition of Currently Hurling, our semi-regular look at what the Splash Damage guys and girls are playing. The holiday onslaught continues, with both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Dragon Age: Origins being among the latest wallet-draining reinforcements. Left 4 Dead 2, New Super Mario Bros Wii and Assassin’s Creed 2 are all set to join the retail fray this week, which will slowly bring to a close the year’s most frantic season of new game releases.
Hidden somewhat in this installment are dragons, high powered assault rifles, likable thieves, several waves of zombies, a copious amount of rock, and at least one art director wielding a turntable. Enter at your own risk.

I won l4d2 (thanks to tgt :P) and have been playing that tonight… wow o wow the bots suck :x
its lots of fun but 1 bot in a group of 4 gimped us pretty bad nm 2 or more.

I will be picking up dragon age when i get back to the uk i think :stuck_out_tongue:

The prospect of getting Dragon Age scares me. It looks to be a fantastic RPG by all accounts and it’s on my Do Want list, but I’m afraid I’ll just sink any and all available spare time into the thing. :expressionless:

On another note, I just started playing Assassin’s Creed II last night. Fantastic game so far, very polished and well executed. Can’t wait to play more!

I have modern warfare 2, still all wars I do I play on cod4, cod 6 is great but just not good as cod4.
