I was very exicted for Titanfall, but after the latest gameplay vid I have some doubts. The movement didn’t look as smooth as the first trailer (but this could be due to it being played on a console) Also on entering the mech it seems to always display an animation (so you are locked in position for a while)

But despite those things I’ll probably still get it and it looks like the most interesting title coming out in 2014 so far.

Watch the 60fps version the animations seem fine to me. Also those are bots playing so could look a little funky compared to when a player plays.

The animation to enter the mech is a big selling point imo. So what if it locks your movement for a moment, you’re getting into a giant mech.

i would like an animation to enter the tank in dirtybomb too.

and about DB the gunplay ,the mainproblem will always be that it want be a crossover of ironsight and oldschool idk it really could work :/. its ok now but not amazing(better than cod :smiley: ,but thats not hard)

The team is made up of ex-Infinity Ward, MW2 era devs so I’m setting my gunplay expectations around that style… still looks good though.

Killzone looks like a big mess to me. Its got COD turtle movement, huge cones of fire hipfire crosshair, little to no recoil at all, 1hk weapons, GIANT wide lighthouse helmets so you always no an enemy coming around the corner… lmao… and people are praising how good it looks but to me while it has good visuals the gameplay looks like ****.

That’s the problem with most games now … they look stunning but the gameplay is poor and messy

Killzone… what’s the point in making an FPS that isn’t released on PC…

You’re going to have to explain why, because I don’t see how DB is different from other games with respawns during rounds in this regard. There are plenty of games where the timing of a spawn wave can decide whether or not a point, flag, or similar objective is captured (Team Fortress 2, for example).

The point is to make money, not a game for the players …

About the jumping and loss of momentum, do it like this:

after the third jump (depending on characters, making characters even more distinct!):4th jump 20% to trip, on the 5th jump: 60 % chance to trip 6th jump: 90% to trip.

Maybe also an indication ingame at your current number of forward jumps with the % chance to trip appearing in view.
