couple tricks i found

first i love this damn game so much.
hint#1.as playin as field ops and ur in a big battle and u go to throw an air-strike canister and it bounces off the back of ur teammates head and lands at ur feet(happened more times than i can count) just run to it quickly and lay prone to snuff the smoke out and it cancles the air-strike.

hint #2.this is for all u panzerpanzies…i noticed it helps to pre-fire b4 exposing urself because of the delay and sometimes u wind up taking out a teammate or 2 or 3 or 6, to cancel the panzer shot just lean to the left or right, (default “q” or “e”).

hint #3.for the mortarheads…keep ur game map up when u fire (default “g”) and when ur mortar lands it shows a small target where u hit, makes for precise aiming.

hope this helps some ppl cuz it helped me out a lot.

In regards to numeral uno, doesn’t that work with enemy smoke signals too? I haven’t tried it personally, but I seem to recall someone saying it worked to some degree. Can you go prone on an enemy signal and cancel it out totally?

Yeah it works on enemy airstrikes. You don’t need to go prone though you can just crouch on the canister. It takes practice to know when to get off the canister though so you will probably eat it from the canister explosion the first few times you try it.

So the canister itself will explode too dishing out damage? Seems a bit silly for a smoke signal.

Get off when you hear the planes. That’s enough to cancel it, and you’ll have time to get away.
