Couple of suggestions... what do you think

I love ET, but a couple of things really annoy me.

  1. When you’re a soldier and fire the panzer, you then switch to the pistol. But when you’re a 4 star soldier and fire the panzer, instead of switching to the pistol, or better yet your SMG, it switches to grenades. This really bugs me as it wastes time.

  2. I think that when you are tring to kick someone on your own team, that only your team should be able to vote. I hate it when we’re trying to kick someone on our team who isn’t playing, and the other team all votes no just so we are at a dissadvantage. Obviously, if you are trying to kick someone on the other team, all players must vote.

I also like someone’s suggestion about an xp bonus if you kill a higher ranking officer. Also, does everyone else have problems when they get to 4 stars in light weapons? After I get it I sometimes don’t get the dual pistols automatically after I spawn. I have to select them manualy. Anyway, I love the game and these are just some minor gripes.

Anyways I like the idea of the team only vote. Of course if you have a side full of jackasses they’re going to vote no and encourage the death of the server. No easy way to fix these things.

And about the level 4 light weapons, I always have to manually select them, unless I switch classes, then it does it for me.

What this game really needs is a vote to ban for a period of time to get rid of the jackasses you’re talking about!

And yeah, I get the dual pistols when I switch classes too.

I think the dual pistols come after you have gone to the selecty screen (L) and press ‘OK’, it doesn’t matter what you do while you’re on that screen.

It’s a bug from the demo they didn’t fix I think.

He wasn’t talking about lvl4 light weaps, he was talking about lvl4 heavy weaps, when you get a heavy weapon AND an SMG to do damage with.

When you have this, after firing your Panzer, it autoswitches to grenades instead of the SMG. Kinda suxxorz.

Just wanted to make that clear.

I don’t think that that is actually a bug. (the level 4 lgt weaps thing).

Akimbo pistols are cool but, can’t you imagine someone who maybe would just rather have the single pistol.

OR, not sure how this works but is the smg that one gets for level4 heavy weaps in the #1 spot in the limbo menu, like the pistol is?? (I think it is)

I think they made it so you have to select it and therefore have more options.

I haven’t thought about this till now, or noticed, or checked or whatever but… If you reach level 4 in both light and heavy weaps, can you get both the smg and the akimbos???

If you can… then my theory is out the window. But… if you can’t, that’s why it’s a selectable thing and not automatic.

It’s true, that was my major beef. I do have problems with the level 4 light weapons, but one click = problem solved. However, you can’t get rid of the switching to grenades problem. I think that this should be fixed and changed to default to the SMG, or at least back to the pistol like before. PLEASE FIX THIS!

I haven’t heard any peeps saying that it gives them the akimbo’s automatically (but I guess if they didn’t have a prob with it, they wouldn’t post maybe)

I’ve never had it given to me automatically. Maybe you went to the limbo menu to check something and didn’t remember, and that’s why it seems like you got them automatically.

I dunno though, has anyone else gotten the akimbos automatically? I know that I haven’t.

I am pretty sure it’s a bug. Firstly, no, I can’t imagine anyone wanting the single pistol instead. Secondly, if you go to the L selecty menu and look at your selected weapon, it shows you that you have the akimbo pistols selected, it just isn’t true. What you do to select the akimbo pistols is just go to the selecty menu and press ‘OK’ without changing anything, which obviously shouldn’t, err, change anything :lookaround:
