I actually made it into a few games tonight after work, but nobody from these forums was on. So I played 3 solo matches just to raise my Assault to 15, then took him into a public match. Of course, I get sent to CC as Sec, it’s 6 of us vs 8 of them and we’re getting spawn camped like a mofo with only 3 mins left. Soooooooo what do I do?*

TOTALY FREAKING DOMINATE!!!

Most of my dumbass teammates who didn’t bother to buff me ever, except for our two bots who revived me and gave me ammo like mad, were only good for cannon fodder distraction at the gate. It took me about 4-5 attempts, but I finally breached their D using my patented “Flash-Molotov-LobsterX6-Grenade-Kross” technique (now available worldwide at a Brink match near you!). Once they were down and their 2 turrets dispatched, I was able to plant a charge on the wall with about 10 secs left. Boom. Oh yeah baby. I was cheerin loud enough to wake up my deaf old dog.

Wall now breached and we had a couple of engies finally doing a good job at keepin the bot moving. I was still lobbing flashes and spamming Lobsters down every street when the bot finally got stuck near the crane, under the container arch. With only 1 min left, and pretty much solo, I ran around the backside where the ComPost is and ended up behind half their team that was now camping around the crane looking in towards their spawn. Surprise surprise, punks. *I did my patented FMLX6GK technique once again and was able to dispatch the 4 guys and a turret around the crane. Epicasm. It bought my team enough time to fix the bot and we made it to the crane in OT!

The rest of the match went much smoother, even though we still were under-humanned at 6 vs 8. We were able to get the bot to the container pretty easily, and it only took about 5 more mins to retrieve the package once the bot cut through. I got a few more last second kills escorting the deliveryman to the gate on the platform.

I am looking forward to seeing my stats on this one. Wish they tracked assists, I had a ton. I did get best Assault and finished with around 6K points, even though when I came into the game, they had already been playing for a bit. I think I was 5th or 6th in XP for all players, a couple guys got 10K and 9K. Whatevs, my team was stagnant until I arrived. Feels good to make the difference.

This game is so much fun.:smiley:

Wish I could have recorded a video replay of it all. Maybe in Brink2 they’ll have a Replay Mode.

That’s awesome. All I manage to do tonight was make people rage quit by down firing the lobster at them preventing them from picking up the bio-weapon in that crate. They couldn’t figure out where it was coming from and they kept running in the crate. I got them five good times before the server emptied out. They probably thought I was invisible even though I was just lying in a corner.

i once got downed and had a sniper as my downfire weapon lol i actually sniped a few people b4 someone revived me. Was sniping them from the ground and they were up on the sec tower

Ha awesome, although if they become Brink haters, let’s hope they don’t find out about this forum. I think we’ve almost exceeded the legal limit and if anymore join, the fire marshall’s gonna be all over our butts.

Everything handles like the gotlung in downed fire. He probably just paced himself and shot when he had a clear shot. I find the tampa or kross is devastating in downed fire.

lol no you cant use the scope…they kept moving in a pattern so i just tested a shot to see how the aim was then kept taking them out. Some reason they kept heading to the same spot to try and snipe us lol so i figured why not take advantage of being downed already

There is nothing like the Lobster to confuse and irritate your enemy. I may have to copy you and throw some flash grenades in the mix too. :penguin:

Just checked my stats, only the solo games tonight showed up so far. I played 4 solo matches, not 3. But the last Aquarium match ended so fast, I kinda forgot about it.

I hope they post the CC multiplayer match. I guess it might take longer to analyze all the stats from the other human players or something.

So sindonor. We should employ your technique and have half the team be soldier. And just steady flashbang/grenade/lobster/disorient everyone and steadily push them back. It’s be a funny way to make people rage quit.

But I do use flash bangs, they’re the appetizer in my 10-course meal. If you’d like to use them as the dessert right before you serve them some SMG after-dinner aperitifs, that could work as well.

I prefer the flash bangs up front, especially while trying to break up an encampment, so they’re running around blind while my Lobster’s raining down Hell. Could be good at the end too while you’re mopping them up with your gun though.

I dunno if having the competition rage quit is a good thing though. Then we’re just against bots…
