Console not working correctly

Howdy,

I recently reverted to a clean install of ET but now I’m getting an issue whereby whenever I open the console, I can see my version of ET, but nothing is being printed to it and I can’t see what commands I type. For example, whilst on a server, nothing echoed on the screen (e.g. “X was vaporized by Y’s Panzerfaust”) is echoed on the console and if I type “/exec autoexec.cfg” it is not displayed in the console (however, the command will execute).

Any ideas on how to fix this? Scrolling down does nothing, tried con_autoclear etc all to no avail. Rather strange!

Hm tried /clear command ?
If this doesn’t help I think it ****ed up a dll. I would backup my cfg, etkey and maps and then reinstall et
