Configuration of chat in ETW

Hi,

I want to configure the chat of ETW again:

for example if I want say “Thanks” I must press these keys on the KB:

1)ENTER of the numeric keyboard

2)the number 4 then the number 3 (these are not the numbers of the KB pad but the numbers on the standard keyboard.

I want use for chat in ETW only the Keyboard pad is possible?

don’t you press V for that? I normally press V from the keyboard. I think you can also remap the controls from the controls menu.

You should be able to bind your voice chat key to the enter button on your keypad and that will do it for you.

I’ve configuered ETW controls to use the ENTER key of Keypad instead of V key.The numbers of Keypad don’t work only the numbers of the standard keyboard work pressing the V button or KP “enter” in my case.

is possible configure in contols or modify some file of ETW and use the numbers of the keypad?

iv had no problems binding to my numpad buttons. was numpad enter KP_ENTER?

Ans:Yes, is Enemy Territory Wolfenstein ETW

The problem is simple:

The numbers on the keyboard work using the chat,the numbers on the Keypad don’t work using the chat.
To have a fast chat I prefer have the working numbers for chat on the Keypad.

Possible?

Yeah I guess try using your Num Lock key on your keyboard (there should be a light if it is on). That might do it.

:slight_smile: Never mind,I’ve tried several attempts but don’t work.
Perhaps is not possible because the Keypad is used for “Fireteam” chat and this is exclusive for that.

My idea but every suggestion is welcome.

Its called W:ET , not ETW :stuck_out_tongue:

And those key binds (KP_end etc) will prob only work with num lock turned off, if at all

where do ppl get the wrong name only name it has is Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, no RTCW:ET or ETW, u can shorten it to Wolfenstein: ET or just ET
