Complaints for teamkilling

Why can a player file a complaint for teamkillind if he steps on a mine you layed down??? afterall it’s his mistake not from the one who placed the mine. the mines are well marked with flags, not to mention that they are also on the map. so in my opinion he shouldnt’ have the option to complain for teamkilling if HE STEPPED ON IT. it’s his ULTIMATE STUPIDITY that triggered the mine not the one who pu it there

one can also say why one shouldn’t be able to complain about mines placed in such a stupid way that it is almost impossible to jump over them. i’ve seen mines placed in a way that one couldn’t even get out of spawn.

if you got a complainer in your team, simply don’t place mines then, or ask an admin to kick him or play medic or soldier or covert op or whatever or play on a private server …

or do what i do in such cases: join the other team, play CO and let him sound like a goat every time you cut up his throat with your knife from behind :smiley:

That can be disabled on the server using g_disableComplaints, so go :nag: the server admin about it. :wink:

in this case there are other methods to kick someone. no need for filing complaints if someone is stupid (or lame) enough to do that. Problem is in my opinion mines are not teamkilling. and they are ment to be put in places where people can’t jump over them. but if you put it in the middle of wide road, the guy sees it goes arround it and then walks backward to it and steps on it… BUM! and then he compaints. :???:

Ok. i knew there is probably a way for that. thanks. to bad i have this limited number of public servers i can get a good ping on and don’t need to donwload stuff from them on beginning. so i will just try and hold on with what they have. still in my opinion mines are not freindly fire. they are just too visible on map as well as on playing screen.

If someone complains on me I usually just harrass him throught the rest of the campaign, bleed him with a few shots when he can’t tell who shot and so forth. Very stimulating.

yea thats also called being an annoying noob, so you probally deserved the complain in the first place, if you do shit like that so willingly.
