Yup was a very nice review, made brink look like a missunderstood angel.

I mean it is missunderstood, and there are alot of COD fanboys and SP lovers that played the single player and then stopped playing. However, the game is buggy, the game has faults and balance issues. I would suggest a review of the patched game either once the DLC is out, or a bit down the line when its patched into a decent shape, no point telling people its great when there are still so many issues that can be sorted out, but will take a little time.

I love the gameplay, but from what I saw (missed last minute) you guys missed a bit about why the game is failing, at least on PC. The game is failing on PC because of the bugs that took too long to sort out. There are simply many people who probably gave up on it because of poor performance.

It’s too bad really, because in its current state is how the game should have been released. It’s quite outstanding, but there are nights where I’m seeing only 400 active players. Hell, tonight only had 1350 peak. With that few players, the game will be dead by end of summer unless they find a way to sell more copies or bring people back.

I don’t have an avatar and I like it.

I think it needs a balance patch now for those who can play it quickly followed by a patch for those who can’t. Then new DLC. One a month.

Without an Avatar you look like a spammer. Most will ignore you if you don’t look like a real user. Also, the haters typically show up without an avatar and its because they aren’t here to take the time to customize their profile, just to flame.

The footage looks so much better than on my pc. Everything is heavily saturated compared to what the early footage shows.

Or to get an idea, if that footage shows hyperrealism, then I’m playing expressionism.

I don’t have an avatar, but anyone who was part of the ETQW community could well remember me. Statements like how people without avatars are spammers just show how utterly shallow you are. It also explains how you could love Brink so much in its current state though.

Nice review. Shame you sugarcoated its bad parts (and missed half of them).

I agree with what they said about the singleplayer and that SD should have used it more as a training mode than try to market the game as having a singleplayer campaign.
