I was trying to decode the allied and axis command post messsages but I managed to decode only the axis one (Splash Damage rocks your socks!). The allied one is very badly played (too long dots, too short lines and little to none spaces). This is what I managed to write down:
.-/-./-//–/.-/-.//.-././-…//-…/-.-/-/.-/–/…/—/-/–/.-.-.-
What was it supposed to be?
Command post radio message
oooo ill admit thats very impressive and clever of you, but i dont know morse code :\
wtf next ghost !?
Are you serious ?! the bleeping sound from command post actually means something ?!?
Ragnar, I know that about axis message. This topic is about ALLIED radio message. Anyone have the original code? Or is it just random beeping?
It’s a message in old Eastern Sumerian, and it reads: “Strachlar ghalaman mriitiki ut asgrechion daanii tuuwaatixi. Halar fukuti.” This roughly translates into: “If you are trying to decode this message, then you’ve got too much time on your hands. Get laid or something.”
http://www.scphillips.com/morse/index.html?http://www.scphillips.com/morse/trans.html
that site translated your message to:
“A N T M A N R E D B K T A M I O T M .”
I know the alphabetical translation. But it has no sense so I asked if someone has better version! Some of us know the morse code!
You’ve got all the right dots and dashes - but you’ve got them split up wrongly.
Mine’s an orange and passion-fruit, SD
…and to think there were people in this office who questioned the necessity of hiding messages in the radio signal.
:moo:
If you use rot13.com, it (de)cyphers into "N A G Z N A E R Q O X G N Z V B G Z ".
The message is obviously encrypted
I hope splashdamage will make the decyphering code public soon
If you use rot13.com, it (de)cyphers into "N A G Z N A E R Q O X G N Z V B G Z ".
Then rot13.com should update their decoder. The first one is right.
Some com post sends: ( custom maps)
Splashdamage rocks your socks.
a) It’s not only on custom maps
b) It’s the default axis message
c) Please read the beginning of the thread. ALREADY DISCUSSED AND OFF-TOPIC!
dunno what the message says, but the tune sounds like “Just One Fix” from Ministry.
