Hi,

How to send a “say_team ^3sample_text” command to ET from my application? How to do it in Borland C++ Builder or Borland Delphi 7 ?

Like a Heron do. Heron is a spawntimer and this program sends “say_team” or “echo” command to ET…

PlZ help & sry 4 my English ;O

you can do this with vb I have a dynamite counter which listens to the et console and sends text to it when needed

that’s the way heron works, if you want you can detect enemy spawn if you read a ‘mass /kill’ from the opposite team

With the et admin mod you can do this easily. But you need to be a server admin and you need to know Perl.
You could start with tweaking the config and add some commands similar to !beer etc.

fretn, but then they could just be being lame and you get the wrong info ;X

" <insert spawntimer app name> has detected a possible spawn, press ‘Y’ to use it "

it’ll be off by a couple of seconds then!

better thand having no clue at all when they spawn, it takes 1 wrong spawn to see when they exactly spawn
