@Tok I know they’ve donated to charity etc before but I’m suggesting they do their own collectors edition (sign the box etc) and then donate some of the money. Everybody wins! Unless I missed something I don’t remember them offering anything like that with ETQW.

@Pytox/Crytiqal I afraid to say it but I sense sarcasm in brbrbrbrbrbrbrbr’s post. SD is a games company so it’d be kind of nuts to expect them to branch into a totally different area. Although, that being said, using some artistic downtime to create some unique designs which then get passed off to a third party to manage the printing/shipping wouldn’t be beyond possible.

people, cultivated in “black or white”-shaped societies[you know “good or bad things exist there, boys, nothing more. let me talk which colors have some things”-lectures-grown, species] specimens usually differ/distance sarcasm[and other sense of humor. and other senses, btw]and other content in communication.

I think the cheapest but yet pretty cool item that is included in a special edition package would be a poster of some sort.

Maybe a map of the Ark? However, I think an item that would be perfect in a special edition package of this game would have to be an Art book, seeing as the art that went into this game differs greatly from other games and is very interesting to look at.

Stuff like art should be available in a Developer/Publisher store where you can buy it in a format you want. Book, poster, coffee mug, quality print, commemorative plates etc.

Hey maybe put a ton of the concept art online, free, as marketing like Valve did with the L4D comics.

I actually liked the idea of bathtub toys, my ducky gets lonely in the bath!

I’m putting together my own Super Meat Boy collectors edition. Grabbed the signed double CD soundtrack and will get the signed retail special edition when it comes out. Just waiting on whether they’re going to get ink on the retail artwork

In short if there is no Collectors Edition, SD (or have a spouse, sibling, friend) should make up a website to flog off stuff that fans of the Studio or SD made games can buy and really collect.
