Not sure how everyone else felt about the ETQW collectors edition but I felt it was a little lacking.

For Brink I’d love to see:[B]

A developer diary book/DVD.[/B] Perhaps include meeting notes during the key design phases of the game, don’t just put a slide-show of concept art together.

Keyfob/Flash Drive. Yes I still burn with jealousy thinking of those nifty flash drives you gave away for ETQW. Actually I’d ideally love a nice branded microSD usb card reader.

Full Soundtrack. If you have the rights, it would be nice to have it on a bonus disc.

Ringtones. They were a nice idea on ETQW but not really that good for use. Be excellent if you could not only do audio clips but also create some suitable Splash Damage quirky ones using in game assets.

NO Exclusive, levels, armour, maps, gayness. Please lets get everyone playing on the same game.

Anyone else got anything?

How about something like, a real life mask based of one of the in game ones. Like CoD:MW2 had the night-vision gogs… or do resistance and security themed ones. I’d like to get one of those bandanna masks with the stitched mouth on it :slight_smile:

Would be good if we can get an official poll on some of the content to be included in the special or collectors edition and I don’t mean digital content.

My list is pretty much a/p the first post.

Mask - I’ll go with Ninja, sweet idea. And if you needed more convincing I’ll just say how great the ninja hood was in The Last Ninja (and rubber shuriken).

I liked the Special Edition of Far Cry 2.
It was like a big package.

Some idea’s:

I think some exclusive special tatoo or outfit would be awesome.
Art-work book.
Metal casing.
T-Shirt.
Bonus-DVD or flash drive with soundtrack and delevoper content.

Would prefer a flash drive over a DVD. Even a keyring. I still have my R* keyring in active service.

I agree with the no exclusives maps/weapons etc. This is totally nonsense for a multiplayer game.

I would like:

  • Steel case
  • Art book
  • Some flyers with the great artworks that are on the posters (that I didn’t win).
  • Price being +10€ at max for this special edition.
