This matchmaking is just awful.

  1. How am I supposed to coordinate with my friends that just got the game and play with them? Find the perfect window where you’re allowing people to browse the servers?
  2. I just got a minor penalty because a match was taking too long to find players and kept asking me to accept the match.

Great first impression to these new players…

For matchmaking LOL works quite good. A loby where you can join your friends and once you’re in look for a match.

To have the friendlist in the current loby has no sense if you can’t join your friends games. To send messages is already Steam mailbox.

A future addition would definately be an option to search as a team. So when you have 5 buddies in the same lobby, tick that checkbox and you will only be placed against another group of 5 that has done the same.

they shouldn’t have to be a five stack if you’re a five stack. That seems like an honest to god waste of time.

What’s seriously annoying right now is that I’m getting 120 ping every time I queue up, even though I only queue for North America.

I live in California so I shouldn’t get extremely high ping to another North American server. 80 ping at max for US East servers is typical. 120 is ridiculous.

The thing is, even if you’re 5 players the situation might be that you’re new to the game, don’t have any tactics, or simply because you don’t feel ready facing an actual team. The ranking will hopefully do a proper good job at this anyway, but still something I’d like to see.

Silva already pointed out that there will be party MM eventually but that its not at the same point as solo MM hence why its not available. We can stop harping on about it now, guys.

Now that i played for a few more hours:

Fragger is as overpowered as health station:

Nades needs to fly slower
He needs to cook his nades longer
Nade needs to have less aoe
He needs to lose HP or his gun needs to deal less damage
And im not sure whats the deal with his backpack but its pretty hard to land a headshot from the back.

MG’s have like no real animation so i just die most of the time without knowing what exactly killed me.

There is too much blood when getting meeled, as if proxy running 100km/s wasnt a problem it also slows you down, shake your screen and create so much blood that you cant see ****. No i dont think meele is overpowered i just think its frustrating and it shouldnt be this easy to meele someone.

At first i thought that light characters simply run too fast but i dont really have problems hitting aura (unless we talk about long range), but proxy is a real pain in the ass to hit, cant really say why. I do think that light mercs have too much for how little they lose (20hp is pretty meaningless when you run faster and have smaller model). Bigger models or less hp (but i do think that ttk is too fast already) is probably the bare miniumum that needs to happen.

Shotguns arent overpowered on slower mercs but light merc with shotgun is pretty much insanity. Sure you can beat them but it isnt fun to deal with at all.

I cant hear footsteps most of the time, especially on light mercs. People can stand next to me and i cant hear them unless they shoot. Some sounds are inaudible at times (like i can see someone shooting next to me but i can barely hear him, which fix itself after a sec or something). Hit sounds when I AM getting hit are too loud. Unless you did this already, take out auguments that make footsteps louder/quiter, it is a huge mistake to put things like that in the game and it just create inconsistency without adding ANYTHING to the game.

Not sure about mines but proxy should at least be forced to arm them, right now you can run into a room full of enemys throw a mine and there is a pretty decent chance that you will kill someone even if they see the mine.

Machine pistol is way too strong for a secondary weapon, especially against classes that use smg. Sniper class shouldnt be this strong at close range and i will probably never accept wallhack ball on a sniper class, this is silly at best.

Was said in the past but arty ability isnt worth using.

Allowe me to bind med packs on the same key as ammo packs, its so freaking annoying that those are swaped and i constantly try to revive someone instead of healing myself.

So far sawbones and skyhammer seems to be the only mercs that are actually in a good place (after recent changes to assault rifles), every other mercs aside from those still needs work (either OP/UP ability, class problems, guns problems and so on) in my opinion, also it kinda bothers me when you call those 7 mercs the most balanced ones when fragger and aura are pretty much the most overpowered mercs i ever played against (and fragger is op for how long now ? He is overpowered as long as i remember).

If you’re 99% of the time attacking, then clearly someone else is 99% of the time defending. Maybe luck? I doubt SD has a system to ACTUALLY force people onto specific sides every time.

Much sad. New post match crashing, no dome or train, few skilled players, and the loadout system hasn’t been made interesting. On the plus side, don’t have to watch xp bar going up like a loading screen after each match. Proper score screen except some pages lack disconnect button.

did anyone figure out the spawn times on Objective mode? I found it really hard to get a spawn camp going. I should say really hard but the enemy spawned seemed very random… I think this is why I like SW. Both for the mode its self and trying to figure out enemy spawns, pushes and spawn killing. Just much more dynamic then just playing 1 side with a bunch of randomness.

Totally agree…

I have been playing proxy more and more and she is super OP! Especially with playing to win and doing objectives! I was winning terminal in 3 minutes!

If SD would seriously switch to slugs the problem would be solved!!

I had proxys knifing me left and right… It was ridiculous!

I have expressed how I feel about proxy several times. I give up saying how completely over powered she is. She is fast, hard to hit, got the best short ranged weapon in game, got a decent long ranged secondary and almost instakill mines. On top of all that she does objectives quicker. I must just be talking out my arse because no matter how much I say this I don’t get much back up at all :confused:

SD will see the data I hope. On terminal proxy is a must have. On both teams! That maps shows just how OP she is. What is her HP now? like 110! Pfft!
