Some feelings about classes:

Sparks - the revive gun needs buffing - the full charged shot is ok though. But the normal mode has too less punch and too high spread bloom imho.

Phoenix - smg has simply too less punch (damage), else it is ok.

Fletcher is totally useless now. He was pretty nice some patches ago. His shottie is nerfed too much, as well as his stickies. His autopistol is of little help to hold his own.

Soldiers’ pistols have too much recoil.

It has infinite ammo - that’s the trade-off for low damage. I don’t think the charged shot should be a 1hk to the head (unless this changed). The only gun that should do that is vasilli’s.

I feel the same about Sawbonez. Used his smg for the first time in a long time today and it felt weak. It also seemed to have more spread than Skyhammer’s AR (my normal gun).

Sawbonez and phoenix look really weak even if they have some good ability, maybe adjust the spread.
Revive is useless due to the short spawntime + short travel time to the obj, there is no medic anymore on the battlelfield
(if there is any battlefield, servers and forums are both empty … ) Slow down are back … ammo pack and health pack slow down is … Meh …

NEED MAPS !
Or this game is born dead

I agree I would think Medics would be faster and have less spread weapons. I really like Phoenix better then Saw… Saw feels like you are shooting rubber bullets! Phoenix feels good, I would always say I would like that 9 back in the damage column :wink:

#1) Phoenix is fine just needs to buff his medic skills.
#2) SAW - Spread Reduction! Buff Medic Skills
#3) Tweak Revive Shield.
#4) Increase Full Revive Charge by 0.15 Seconds
#5) Faster Animation of revive Paddles. (Something seems weird HOWEVER it might be the muscle memory or not knowing what you brain is telling your body to do. Example Fast revive right away or click and hold and try for a full revive or try for a full and get shot panic and revive for a half.)
#6) Give medics a reason to revive…
IMPORTANT - #7) Make it clearer for medics to see who is down and who needs a revive! I can hardly tell!!!

I agree Travel Time to the actual battle makes medics useless…

You also will die if you revive and so will the revived person.

You can not medic train or even push a hall way with team work. Its SPAM SPAM SPAM!

Please don’t make this game too spammy. Some of the indoor maps you can for sure tell the difference vs an outdoor map.

Indoor or outdoor what the différence ? that’s a “Tube” design on all maps … Frontal access only, side obj useless, etc …
and the scale is so tiny, even on outdoor maps …
I don’t see any diference between indoor and outdoor maps … That’s clearly what’s boring me the most, repetitiveness come from similar design on all maps (closed corridor Tube with some sort of fake alternative route, who lead to the same place …), really bad objective design (press F to win, stay here to win, … boring), and bad use of secondary objectives (give a real usefull access, open the main route to the obj, capturable spawn, disguise ? doors ? command post ? etc …)

Maps ! if there is one thing I can really dislike in this game that’s it. (second is objective design, but one go with the other)

Learn 2 read pls - I specifically denoted that the charged shot is ok, didn’t I? Trade off or not, she has to be able to hold her own, esle she will not be used. If you think that increasing a normal shooting mode damage will be too much, then at least they have to do smth with the distance spread creep. It is too high and at medium to large distances she is almost useless. She has to rely mostly on close and personal combat then, where her semi-automatic revive gun is not that perfect due to intrinsic harder leading with non-automatic rifles. Not that I am against higher skill requirements for shooting but at least it has to be more equal between characters.

I am confident that since many patches already the Sawbones character is almost perfect. I don’t understand why people complain about him consistently since alpha, whatever SD does about him. Please leave Sawbones alone, he is already the most fun gameplay character in the game, buffing him more will simply op him. Phoenix is deficient though. It is him who has rubber bullets, not Sawbones, on my opinion.

Sawbonez vs Phoenix guns are pretty different, but I wouldn’t call either weak. Phoenix is technically better in a 1v1 if you land your headshots because he has super low spread, no recoil, and a high RoF, but if your hitting the body it feels like rubber (same with engy SMG). Saw can take on a bigger group and stay healthy at the penalty of a bit more spread and lower RoF. Both medics can kill plenty, but if anything they tend to have a lot of assists which usually is because with the attrition play style someone else finishes their kills. You really need to get used to the play style of the medic to frag, so can’t expect to use the same approach as say a soldier or fops for example. The best fragging meds I’ve seen know how to bait their fights really well.

Reviving does feel pointless at times b/c of map/spawns, but other than that I think the medics are still very necessary. If there’s anything wrong, it’s that medics in particular suffer the most from low body damage and falloff while others do not. It might make sense if SMGs were that much more effective than ARs at close quarters, but they aren’t really. I’d like to see more even body damage across weapons and make the difference in headshots. After all the differences in weapons should involve difficulty->reward in terms of landing headshots.

Sparks rifle I think requires you to fine tune a manual RoF to keep good spread, which is similar on some other weapons that go crazy if you shoot too fast. Maybe they should just add firing modes (auto/semi) so that people don’t get confused? idk.

I like the idea.

In my personnal experience, Sawbonez and Phoenix are really cool to play, you can do fairly well with them as their SMG are really accurate (compared to other weapons) but sometimes you’ll need to hide into a corner and heal yourself to be able to keep on. But heh, they’re medics !

Btw phoenix feels useless now that you can revive people full life with other medics. His self revive ability should revive full life too to encourage gibbing. It would still be not be the best ability but now it’s really uselss.
