hey
what to do:
the servers i connect to stop loading (i see all maps from the campain for like 5 seconds) than this error shows up:

Client/server game mismatch: 'Enemy Territory/ETpro ’

who knows what to do???

You probably are connecting to a server which is running the ‘etpro’ mod, and you don’t have it installed. The etpro mod can be downloaded here: http://bani.anime.net/etpro

but i did allready downloaded the etpro from their
in my etpro map is see this files:

Animations it’s a folder
Configs it’s a folder
etpro it’s a folder
etpromapscripts it’s a folder
maps it’s a folder
profiles it’s a folder
cgame_mp_x86.dll
etpro_cheats.dat
etpro - 2_2_0.pk3
etpro - 2_2_1.pk3
etpro - 2_2_2.pk3
example.cfg
qagame.mp.i386.so
qagame_mp_x86.dll
ui_mp_x86.dll

so maby you see a file or a folder thats wrong and brings the problem of client/server mismatch blabla damn

You shouldn’t have an et/etpro/etpro/ folder, perhaps you extracted etpro to et/etpro and it created et/etpro/etpro (?)
Also… etpro - 2_2_0.pk3 is probably an old version, the ‘latest’ etpro is 3.2.1

eh… i tried it
it worked…
i played ET for 10 minutes than i had to go to school…

now i’m back and it gives the same error :S:S:S:S

and what’s the difference???

here is a thing i find out:

if my punkbuster is disabled it gives this error:
client/server game mismatch ‘Enemy Territory/ETpro’

if my punkbuster is enabled it gives this error:
VM_create on cgame failed

Have you installed the newest patch?
I think this proble arises because you want to connect to an ET V 2.60 server with an ET V 1.0 / 1.02 client (or vice versa).

My advice, for what it’s worth… (if you are still havin these problems)

If you have a good internet connection (fast):
Reinstall ET
Install patch 2.60
connect to any server (wait for any downloads)
You should be fine

If problem continues come back here :]

i’m playing with the newest patch 2.60 but i also have the 1.02 still on my pc in the same folder
i have ETpro 3.2.1 but i also have older ETpro’s in the same folder

eh, either if i join a server or want to make a hoste game this error shows up
VM_create on cgame Failed

so the Client game mismatch ETpro error should be fixed i guess… now thiss shows up :S

The problem that now showed up is

so i guess the client/server game mismatch etpro is gone

who knows the answer on the VM_create on cgame failed error ??? :S :’(

maybe try increasing windows swap file size, it seems to have worked for RTCW and TC:E

means that there is something so wrong the engine couldn’t load the client part of the game (cgame*.dll)

look… i don’t see the servers coming up in the server list
and i don’t see:
'Welcome to Enemy Territory"
Player xxxxxxxx
where x is the number it’s 40 miljoen now i believe (i saw it at my mate’s PC)

maby it all ‘Belongs’ to eachother so because of this 2 little errors, the VM_create on cgame failed error shows up…
or is that pure bullshit??

just uninstall et and delete the folder it leaves behind [c:\program files\wolfenstein - enemy territory] then reinstall…
