The game doesn’t give you any way to enforce this. Howerever, it would be very easy to require everyone to submit demos, and have any clan who use the wrong number forfeit. The only problem then would be finding clans who wanted to play in such a system.

Mind you, I think the idea is silly. It only takes a few shots to gib, and panzerfausts, grenades, rifle grenades and support fire all can kill and gib instantly.

hmmz yes you spend 3 extra bullets to gib one medic in the middle of a firefight during a clanmatch … meanwhile your dead from the other 4 rambo medics and by time you respawn so is the 1 medic you managed to gib the first time.

Demo and then submitting it to the league admins to review afterwards would get kind of messing, (teams wouldn’t be happy submitting to other side as would get to see their tactics and layouts) especially seeing as the league will have around 40 teams.

Sorry to be blunt but could people stop questioning the question and live with the fact that we are wanting to trial this option to see how it works in dealing with clan match balance issues. Am simply in need of a ‘yes’ it is possible and by doing what or writing some kind of script or ‘no’ not possible to do.

But that is the problem. If spamming arty and panzers makes it too easy to defend, then both teams will hold out for the full timelimit and the match ends in a tie.

To use stopwatch in clan matches, you want the games biased towards the offense, so the question becomes “How long did it take to meet the objective?”, and not “Did they meet the objective at all?”

You think 3 bullets is bad ? It takes half a ****ing clip to gib someone in RTCW. Gibbing it ET is EASY. Really with people who know how to play, the medic revive ability is almost useless in ET. When you take someone down, put 3 more bullets into their body, and off to limbo they go. In RTCW, you probably had to reload, or switch to your knife to conserve ammo.

Oh and your argument about demos is BS too. AFAIK, most of the leagues already require demos, and a lot of people post them on chached anyway.

Since you don’t seem to have been listening to the previous people who told you this THERE IS NO WAY TO DO WHAT YOU ASK.

It isn’t spamming arty and panzers that makes it too easy to defend, it’s the fact that the defending team spawn right on top of the objective being defended, and do so every 30 seconds max that’s the problem. This isn’t an issue in RTCW (i.e. no-one ever called for Lieutenants to be limited), because the defending team usually has a 40 sec re-spawn.

At the end of the day, Class selections can’t be controlled as you’re suggesting, so it’s a moot point. However spawn times can and I, and others, have proposed doing exactly that.
