Fragger has low ammo, requires support and heals, the LMG has a long reload time and the spread increases quickly, He’s slow, outflank him and suprise him

Aura stations are still kinda insane, and because of that, fragger seems stronger (as he is the direct counter currently) so them being a low hp fast moving medic class with weaker weapons is fine.

As a sawbones i could 1v1 a fragger, and heal up, reducing the crotzni dps made it harder to do so

Agreed proxy is in a good place

crouch spamming is easy to predict and a good sniper (linkz i believe?) has shown he has no issue hitting them.

agreed, sky is in a good place, but seems a little unneeded as ammo is common.

arty stalker is op, 1 head shot burst = free won fight, the standard weapon is a little meh tho.

We played against you today, and you played well and gave us some good games, but remember we were a mix team and you made some very elementary mistakes. I am by no means a pro, and i got carried on those matches (somewhat … still went +ve)

but it seems to me balance is better this patch than it was last patch.

I’d balance fragger by reducing the body shot damage of the LMG and increasing its vertical recoil by up to 10%. Frag grenades need either an overall reduction on AoE/some kind of dmg decay on the AoE, or a mechanic that reduces AoE the longer the grenade is cooked. A big grenade kill should require you to aim your nade well and grenade cooking needs a negative trade-off. I’m alright with the high HP simply because he’s slow and meant to be the entree fragger/push lead for the team. Perhaps if he took more headshot damage (2.15x) I would be fine with that.

Nade cooking is strong.
Very strong.

Timing it well, throw it into an objective, boom, triple kill. Completely unexpected too (unlike an artillery or airstrike).

… How much damage does a nade actually do?

To me (by no means a comp player) the glarring issue is, since forever, Saw need an über buff! Gief speed 470.

Crouch-spamming in general is fucked up mechanic, yes I can hit people who do it but I can’t get headshots (unless I’m lucky) No one can follow a dude who ADAD’s + crouch spams and mixes jumps in between, or can but it’s just extremely frustrating and hard.

Also to add about snipers. ChickenNwaffles has made some posts about aimpunch / crouch-spamming and what it feels like to be a sniper in general and most of the things were spot on, but people who don’t even try to play sniper at competitive level just shrugs it off and ignores it. Like the way things currently stand there is no real reason to play sniper over fragger. And comparing how easy it’s to play fragger unless you like to hurt yourself then go ahead and pick sniper.

I also saw like 3-4 threads about snipers being too strong in this game.

You are nuts… Linkz and I talk alot, and we have both agreed that it is impossible to consistently headshot anyone who abuses crouch spamming, because of aimpunch. It’s easy as fuck to fight a sniper at long range as long as you crouch spam lmao. Even without aimpunch, it would still be hard as hell to hs anybody adadad and crouch spamming. How they hell are you supposed to flick to someone moving back and forth and up and down again?

Agree with just about everything, except for Vasili. I think he’s broken. While I admit his shooting is very inconsistent at times… A headshot gib is ridiculous. Either give the guy a movement penalty (jump and strafe shooting primarily) or remove the instant gib. You really can’t have both. All the while, I still think he’s not viable for competitive play. His pokeball doesn’t really offer much utility, you generally are aware of your opponents being around X or Y area anyway, given gamesense and comms. He’s inconsistent and can only really shine in an already winning team, even or just slightly lesser skilled teams will always suffer from having a merc slot wasted on sniper rather than an additional medic, skyhammer or even fragger. That being said, the headshot gib is still utterly ridiculous considering how easy a headshot is achieved given the bad map design (especially so on the winning team).

Doesn’t justify instant gib. There are tons of games sniping is far harder in, with crouch spam, similar movement and way more penalties to sniping than this and they don’t offer instant gib…

You honestly can’t expect anyone to take you serious, whining about crouch spam abuse while a single headshot GIBS, even more so kills an aura in a single body shot.

Removing instagibs for Vasilli will make him not viable in comp; actually it will kill him entirely.

Why should explosives instagib and not a sniper headshot? One of those actually takes skill.

Anyone tried the auto sniper in competitive? You can just spam bodyshots 2-3 and anything but fragger goes down.

Most of the aspects are on-point.

The recent patch brought nerfs that were uncalled for, and didn’t nerf things that were direly needed to be nerfed (Cooked grenades for example).

As i said in previous threads before, for gods sake please remove the cooking mechanic and replace it with timing on impact. You can wipe people without any effort, it’S ridiculous.

Auras healing station needs a nerf aswell. A little time before the heal kicks in when standing in the healing circle to prevent healing spam or anything would do.

Shotguns… I personally don’t have any problems with 'em except for the fact that you can oneshot every class (?) with a close up headshot (which is not that hard btw…)

Vassili is retardedly easy outgunned by a rifle or lmg, it’s crazy. I get that crouched aim should be accurate , but take at least away the aimpunch.
