Clanwar / Public configs problems...

Hey guys :clap:

I have a problem with my servers.
I made a config with public settings and when people need the server i’m locking it and using Clanwar \ Clanwar3on3 configs.
When the public config is used, a map cycle cfg is activated.
Anyway, when I want to lock a server I load Clanwar\Clanwar3on3 and then use “rcon map oasis” for exacple to break the map cycle.
Now the problem is that spawn times for example are ruined. I have no idea why this is happening bacause even my Public config is based on Clanwar.
My only guess is, that by moving map with the “rcon map” command, the old map’s spawn times remain the same @ the new map.

Anyone has any idea how to solve this problem?
If you want i’ll upload the configs, maybe you’ll spot the bug.

Post the configs, cos it sounds like you’re missing something. I use a “competition” config based on Clanbase, and a public config that isn’t, and have no problems switching between them. One thing to note however is that certain settings (like timelimit (not sure about spawn times)) only take effect when you reset the match (i.e., not on loading the map).

Yep, whenever you change config and/or map, a restartmap or resetmap (? :D) is required.

So all I gotta do is map_restart after I do map oasis for example?
I’ll try and let you know if it worked, though i’m not sure that’s what you meant. :<

Well I use a clanwar.config, then select map with “map oasis” as well, and I don’t have to do any map restarts to get correct spawntimes or moverscales or other map specific settings, so I’d say it looks like there’s something missing in the script. Possibly the mapdefault commands, or maybe a link to a mapdefault folder overruling the mapdefaults with new ones ?
