I just bought a Wolfenstein ET server off of ClanServers.com but it says I have no permssion to put shrubmod on it… any ideas?

Did you tried to connect to the server with something like SSH Secure Shell?

There is nothing to support on shrub and you dont need shell access to run it, You are just simply overwriting some files in ET, Read the shrub documentation and it tells you how to just upload it to your server overwriting is all.

I wouldn’t try the overwrite thing, it precludes you ever using any other mod, best to put it in a shrubet folder

Yes you are right Nail, but the shrub install info does give both methods of install. I did overwrite on my main shrub server just because i dont plan on running other mod on it, and for some reason have had better luck with that type of install. Really bottom line is, you dont need your server company to do anything for you to install shrub mod. :clap:

Hello I use clanservers.com

It’s easy to install shrub. Just connect to your server via FTP (log in). And install shrub on to the FTP just as the FTP is your hard drive.

It’s simple.

You need to put the shrub folder into /et, not /ipaddress folder, or you will get a permission denied.

BTW: Clanservers is a great host.

Yer, just some hosts dont allow there users FTP access and stop there users from using mods unless the pay X extra.

I didnt realise as yoiu didnt explain your problem with details it was actual FTP probs… :wink:
