hi
can anybody tell me what this error message means. it happens only on 1 server, which is the server ive been playing on for a very long time. i can connect to every other server out there though.
CL_parseServerMessage:illegible server message 70
it happens at the awaiting gamestate screen when i first connect.

Prolly something wrong with the server.
It seems to me the server sends a bad command. Have you asked someone else to connect to the same server yet?
A few other reasons may be there: network problems, your copy of ET not being patched or patched in some wrong order if you’re playing ETF…
thx for your help kamikazee. strangely enough i tried again the next day (today ) and i got in
with no problems at all. it must have been a gremlin lol.
