CL_Parse: read past end of server message

I got this message from some server i want to play on, What i have tried to do:

  • Reinstall of ET + Patch + PB update
  • Reinstall of my Network Drivers
  • Shutdown of Norton AV 2003
  • Shutdown of zonealarm

Nothing worked so can you help me please?

This can be caused either by a badly configed server or a bad connection between your client and the server. The server update packets were showing up malformed, and your client didn’t know what to make of the information it received. In general, try playing on another server.

Playing on a other server is not an option because i am playing in a clan, and i like to play on all the other clanservers as wel, not only on our own server.

Maybe this information will help:

  • After a PB Update, i get the problem
  • My internet connection is an ADSL 4mbit down 640Kbit up
  • Router is an Draytek Vigor 2200X

Is there any logbook in ET? If so, please tell me how to find it.

Load up game, recreate the error then open console and /condump <name>.txt = your log.
