A public or somewhat larger private test could help. Do name it correctly, if it’s done for what you planned with it, it’s a beta.
But an alpha could work out better if you’re unsure if it’ll work at all.

EDIT: Seems it’s 20 MB.
The BSP is 14 MB large though, is it well optimized for VIS?

Post a command map? List of objectives? I ain’t downloading anything without a decent teaser. Pics on here would be cool too. (The pics on that page are only 4, too dark, and dont show anything but some buildings.)

The movie is an excellent one though, it was in cinemas in 1994 or 1995 i think. Same directors as Delicatessen (Jeunet et Caro). Jeunet did Alien IV too (which sucked though).

The map looks quite good. (Ok, some textures may become repetitive) but the style of building is nice!
Allso, there’s some work done on the command map. (Ok, it looks a little lo-res here and there, but there’s at least some work done on it)

I take all these advices…
My vis is full, I compiled the map in old style (because I prefer the ambience of RTCW but I prefer ET’s gameplay).
In the final version of the map All comment will be in English language,
I will change my screenies and create a new section for ET.
I really love the movie “city of lost children” by Jp geunet and mark Caro, but I think with time J P Geunet go to a classic cinematic style. “the long sunday…” “amelie poulain” His style who was original becoming conventionnal. But the ambiene of this movie was pretty cool, (there was also a video game on ps1).

But before you do that, you really should answer the question “Is the map ready for a release” with “YES”.

I would like to take a look around the map in a couple days, when I get back home. Any chance this is available for free download as of yet? Does anybody have it or is the mapper anywhere to be found?

eeh 27mb for a et version no one is ganne download that cous in game the download will be way to slow so people just wont play it

The map itself played quite well in SP test.
The pk3 is 20 MB large, and it uses custom textures.

Take a look at his webpage, you can view some more screens there.

its a really nice map, love all the areas you can go, but i sure would love to
see some different building textures other then the red brick!
