The guys are INVINSIBLE, two of them. I will post the demo, is kinda funny, spawn camping and blocking at its worst. lut just stands there and panzer has no effect and drops airstikes.

This is a beta patch(todays in fact) so my assumptions are that it wont be a problem and punkbuster is turned off in this 64 person server.

looks like my witchhunt is just a server setting of sv_cheats being enabled on that popular server.

FWIW, god mode can only be done one the server. The server does all damage calculations, so if someone is truely invulnerable it is one of

  • sv_cheats 1
  • other server admin cheat
  • server bug
  • lag

Anyone who claims that you can get god mode from a client side hack is pretty much full of it, though there is always the remote possibility that you can do something on the client that tricks the server into doing something it shouldn’t.

Well, did anyone try if entering \god in the console gets you into god mode as well? If that’s the case, the server is simply running with cheats enabled. (can’t try it myself, as the server is for low pings only). Also, as it’s a beta patch, it could also be a bug, of course.

I dropped by that server.
Cheats were on.
Half the people were in god mode, the rest had /give all on.
Flamers sitting there going forever.

I just went /noclip and fly undernear the map, grabbed the gold, healed the truck from below.

you can’t do sv_cheats 1 on a server, it won’t work. in fact, that’s actually the default server-side. the server is running devmap. i.e. /devmap fueldump instead of /map fueldump.

I’m the admin of the ECGN 64 player ET server. The server was running a developer-only debug version of server, which the cheats were still enabled in. So don’t get too used to it. …heh.
