Some days ago I was testing some stuff localhost with devmap , and messed around with cg_thirdperson (amoung others) cheat protected cvars to fool around for awhile (quite awhile lol). I also watched some demos, normally I see them with cg_thirdperson 1 for viewing pleasure… So I don’t remember exactly all I did (was up till 9 am or so) … but the next night I joined a public (NOT running devmode) and to my astonishment I was seeing thirdperson! I couldn’t set it back to 0 it would say it’s cheat protected. So only way was to disconnect change it on console and reconnect. This has happened to me some 3 times already, all the times before I was playing with devmode or watching a demo… The cheat protected cvars seem to stay somehow… what gives?
