Yeah, this guy is obviously using a wall hack. He’s shooting a good 1.5 seconds before he even gets around a wall. The guy doesn’t even know how to strafe effectively.
IMO, this guy is a n00b who has no intentions whatsoever of getting better at the game. He just wants to be the man on the server.
The fact that he was using an MP40 as a lvl 0 soldier proves that.
itss sooo fuckin obvios, he is watching someone run around the outside of the oasis walls for ages then he throws a grenade outside and the guy aint even popped his head round the corner, also when he is defending the gun there is a dead corpse on the floor and the aimbot goes to it, then it switches to the man in front when it drowns out, this should be sent to punkbuster, cheating is sooo bent, i hate it, people spend a lot of there time trying to get good, when theres people like this just cheating…LOL also i cant beleive that BBC guy thought he was good :blah:
ET seem much more hackable than RTCW was, ive seen a whole lot more hacks for it than for RTCW.
The game itself isn’t any more hackable (from that point of view, they are pretty similar. Well, RTCW might be easier, since you can download the game source). ET is a more attractive target.
Maybe it’s the fact that this game is more popular, dont you think ??

I can say it cos thats my opinion :banghead:
Theres a few times the crosshair is well of the target,unless hes got a key binded to activate the AIMBOT when he wants it, but its through this why I cant be 100% convinced.If u think the cross hair its the enemy everytime in that demo u should watch it again.

Take a look at the demo again (I know we all have better things to do though) and as was pointed out at 7:55 he pauses. It seems that he turns on something because he couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn before that point (see the firefight right before that time) and after 7:55 he jumps around a corner and kills one person with a headshot and nearly kills the other…I can’t say 100% either but Im willing to say 99%

I dont agree that he wasnt hitting anything before 7:55 though ,he was killing easily as soon as the demo starts.But there are periods were his crosshair isnt near the target wich lead to the 1% of doubt.

The guy is a noob anyway, movement and anything else sucks, not that hard to being owned.

Thats usually how it works…
It’s not a video, it’s a demo (replay). Save it to \etmain\demos (if a demos folder doesn’t exist, create one), then fire up ET and from the Main Menu select Replays. The demo you just saved will appear in a list. Click it then click the View button and you’re away.
What I mean by before 7:55 is the firefight right before that moment. He sees (if i remember correctly) a medic in the corner and shoots to the left…shoots to the right…shoots all around until the opponent runs back towards his base. at this point it seems as if lumpy is going to run out the door after him, stops backs up, waits, runs out the door and scores a kill with like two head shots and almost kills another…very suspect.

Also, aimbots arent PERFECT aim, but they get damned near it (no ive never tried an aimbot, i cant even find one :blah:)
That wall hack is obvious one. It is though quite annoying that it is not easy for me to spot aimbot even on newbie players (I suppose he is using aimbot with 99% probability but I watched the demo twice) . If an experienced player had used an aimbot like this I might not have spotted him using one (I havent used aimbot ever so I dont know how it behaves)… I hope that punkbuster can keep major hack using out of the game like some say.
Yea I watched it and I think he’s blatantly using an aimbot/wall hack… wall hack for sure… as for the AIM bot he almost ALWAYS takes the helmet in the first 2 shots from any distance, from any running speed, from anything.
I like to think of myself as a pretty good shot… but that guy, if it was actually him is pretty phenomenal. However the way he moves around suggests he doesn’t even know how to sprint… let alone have such great accuracy.
He’s a blatant cheater in my opinion.

I watched the demo with \r_shownormals 1 on and you can clearly see he is following players that are behind walls. 100 % wallhack imo.
Not too sure about any aimbot though…
