I was in the KaZ server playing with him, so i know for sure that this is a hack, and after watching him tracking players true walls i still cant understand how some cant see it. and the fact that is also a uk ip, i think he got caught and is trying to get out of it. As my other post said could Wils or Bongoboy compare the two ip address’s… that will sort it out once and for all…

Actually my IP here is generally at work (am at work now!)… The IP I registered at ETNation was work but the posts placed after reviewing the demo were from my home. Obviously I only ever play from home…and Elixa, do read the posts at ETNation for the full story. We have ascertained that, yes, the guy was cheating, but no, it wasnt me. I plonked along to the Kaz server briefly last night to see what the server was like, and I also ventured onto the UBC serverto say hello to McNite and I must say I had an enjoyable blast (even though I had no clue of what I was doing on one of the maps!) until it got a bit laggy…

Guys, you gotta read closer. That only proved that there are 2 players with the same name but different IPs and GUIDs. All the talk about "that player didnt use my lol-binds etc. is bullshit because not using any binds proves nothing. And all the talk “it cant be him cuz he s such a nice guy and they got a reputation etc bla bla” doesnt help the matter at all.

I think the only way to actually prove his innocence would ve been if he had registered his GUID at clanbase which he didnt (Kendle found out about that).

So for now we only can’t prove it was him. In dubio pro reo.

But the way he s talking on etnation “my conscience is clear bla bla bla” leaves a bad taste for me. Too much defending of himself for my taste.
And changing a GUID shouldn’t be much of a problem either. So every tracking of a GUID after we started to make it official is useless as well.

McNite, er, read back what you just wrote. We only can’t prove it was him? As he hasn’t registered his GUID at CB (which he could’ve changed at anytime anyway) he must therefore always carry a certain suspicion because someone came on your server and did “/name Senf|Doddsy” in the console?

i ask myself what’s all about with this witch hunt? wouldn’t you ask yourself why he would use an aimbot and/or wallhack in a 3 vs 3 on a pub just to risk the reputation of his clan? that’s ridiculous.

btw: when was that incident? i guess 23.08.2005 between 09:10:00 pm to 10:15:00 pm approximately, am i right? because if i am, one should take a better look at the details in the et.splatterladder statistics. at that time the average ping of the player named doddsy was approx 35ms. but as it seems on the splatterladder senf|doddsy usually has a better ping, around 20.

Wrong. As long as not proven guilty we got to assume it wasnt him. That s “In dubio pro reo”. And “In dubio pro reo” is a good idea.
I m not suspecting him of being guilty. I m just saying that we couldn’t prove his guilt. Big difference.

I have already explained that the timings on the splatter ladder put me in Wapping anyway… plus the dude was playing with my name whilst I was in Calais. I cant provide you photographic evidence of this (unless you wanna get the CCTV footage from Passport control at the French end…lmao) - so its down to what you want to believe.

Btw the only other name I would play as on a server is Mustard|Man (same respective colours) - so by all means search for that one where you wish…

Is this over yet ? Kinda curious as there isn’t a shred of proof against him.
-Even the gameplay of the fake-player was terrible,( if it were not for the hack it would have been worse)…definitely not my level or SENF’s level of regular game-playing.

Some people have always tried to knock off teams in competition, from the ladder, by faking as someone on the team and breaking the comp. rules.
-Nick stealing occurs everyday…I just feel bad for those people who set their admin status to pre-recognized game names(shrub/etpub). Then everything goes sh!tballs for that clan when the admin names are faked.
I have seen that a few times and that clan usually disappears.

My main point…“sabotage”…you guys already understand that though.
