But if it’s just an exploit (which there are plenty) then it’s not that big of a deal… Yes it’s cheap and yes I hate it when people take advantage of them but if you want to play without exploits, play in the TWL ladders (in which the major exploits are illegal)…

Well it’s all very suspenseful, but I would recommend you tell TWL about it so as it will not affect gameplay (in ladder games at least)…

From what I understand Splashdamage will not be coming out with a client patch to fix any bugs or any more official maps…

And personally, I think there is some confusion between cheating and exploiting bugs in the game…

Using a hack = cheat
Exploiting a bug = cheap

I don’t like either and don’t take advantage of either but I don’t think of the airstrike to clear the bank vault on the same level as using a wallhack/aimbot…

My opinion of course. Although with the suspense you’ve built up the exploit you’re hinting to better be pretty damn impressive, otherwise we’ll just laugh at you :fluffle:

Detpack, if you really have a cheat/exploit, the way to deal with it is to PM or email one of the splash folks about it, not post a public message here.

How you can think that splash doesn’t read these forums is beyond me. The obviously read and respond to stuff in the other sections, and they do respond occasionally here. They never responded to my hitbox bug thread, but did fix the most blatent part of it in the server patch. So obviously they do listen.

Oh and a :notworthy: and a :clap: and a :beer: or two :drink: for bongoboy.

Besides, the exploit is probably known by more people out there than you think so it’s really not much of an issue to me.
