I’ve been getting the error CD-Key in use when i’ve been trying to connect to ET servers. I had my friend burn me a copy of the et instal program because my 56k connection blows for downloading but is decent for gaming. Could it be that I used the same install file as him? Any ideas let me know.

There was a problem yesterday it seems, there’s some news on the PB site about it.
If your computer crashed while playing, when you reboot you often get “cdkey in use” errors, sometimes you have to wait 5 minutes before it clears at the master server.
I think there’s also a “/pb_cdkeyreg” command to get yourself a new cd key (yay banning in ET is sooo useful!), or alternatively, re-install the game, or just delete the “etkey” file and it should get another.
