i just tried to play et (tried loadsa servers) and i got ‘cd key in use’… i heard that they were randomly generated on install… is there not anything to check if someone else already has it? or did the programmers just cross their fingers and hope that the same key wouldn’t come up twice? it was fine until today… now a noob comes along and stops me from playing. is there anything i can do other than re install (which i wouldn’t do, to much bloody trouble)

pb_cdkeyreg should request a new cdkey. My ET client seems to constantly ask for new keys each time I start it up.
