SD earned a new achievement: Piss of the entire DB fanbase.

So people like me that grinded hours and hours before this update to get the needed credits, converted them all to cycles, bought boosters and got ravaged in the backend by the system, might get some kind of compensation or do we have to put up with shit like ‘‘You were the one who spent all your credits, it’s your own fault you got played’’? I’m patiently waiting to see how this one plays out. Giving every player cases or credits would still be unfair, since the ones that didn’t get caught in this trap will have even more goodies incoming than they already have, but ofc it’s better than nothing.

I do not have an estimate on this, or whether or not it is “broken”, I am just contacting the right people who can look into it. If there are any updates I’ll be sure to let people know.

I dont really think they should offer compensation. Some people that didnt play the event might see this and say they had put TONS into the event and get stuff for themselves even though they didnt play during the event at all.

That’s what I tried to point out in the last sentence. I have no idea how they will fix this, but I hope they find a reasonable way to do it, so I have a chance of getting some skins for Proxy before it’s too late :slight_smile:

There are ways to work around that, they can just see our individual play times like they did with the Dickens trinkets. And there better be SOME kind of compensation, I’ve been playing with 8 boosters for so long that I got over 1000 kills with Aimee alone since wednesday, and still not a single event drop. Even if it’s just a few extra days to play during this rotation so I can still get cards for Nader and Arty.

Honestly after i buy the last trinket, any credits/cycles i get will go into boosters… Even if they ARE bs. (what else to spend them on? The shitty cases that have the same chance of getting a card as dropping a 100% case??)

This is bullshit. Precisely 2 points were said before the event:

  1. with 10 boosters it’s the same drop rate as a regular case (30%)
  2. boosters stack linearly

I don’t care how low the base chance is. You lied about how boosters work. I want a refund for all current unused cycles and 4 boosters I have now. @RazielWarmonic @stayfreshshoe

They’re “still investigating” and trying to “get communication across” but that just sounds like trying to placate us.

On the stream, Exedore was asked when will multiple case buying happen and he said “I dunno if we are gonna do that at all” and he proceeds to state he wants people to put their credits INTO TRADING UP INSTEAD OF CASES BECAUSE HES WORRIED INVENTORIES WILL GET TOO LARGE! Like, we ALREADY trade up 95% of what we get from cases SO WHAT THE HECK! Even if there was multiple case buying, WE WOULD STILL BUY THE SAME AMOUNT OF CASES!!

The amount of time I’ve played since Wednesday, I feel like even with zero boosters I should have gotten a drop by now - so playing with 2 for a few days and then 5… Is it unrealistic to expect that with 5 boosters, you get an event drop half as often as a regular case? Because that sure isn’t happening. But, as per the stream, they’re “working as intended”.

In that case, same old bullshit RNG as always. Disappointing.
