Case booster are bull sh!t

(Randomdeath) #1

I stacked up 10, played 25 matches and nothing. I got pleeeeeeeeeeenty of normal cases tho. Way too many credits/Cycles down the drain. Is there a bug involving the boosters? Or is the description saying “If 10 boosters are stacked, the drop chance of a suspect case is just as high has normal case” a str8 up lie?

Sounds like an RNG case drop event to me. I’ll reserve judgement until later into the event, haven’t liked the past two.

I think it means you have the same chance as normal equipment cases, so it’s 50/50, so you’re just unlucky

(Randomdeath) #4

Alrighty then…

i’ve got one and that’s all ill get, just to expensive for an rng event.
trinkets i might buy though, only up side for me.

thx @OP for letting us know not to waste time with boosters

It’s already confirmed that you can get both a regular case and event case in one game so it should be 30% if you have all 10 boosters no matter what.[/left]

This is correct.

That’s too advanced mathematics for my poor tiny head

I bought one and got a case the next match… RnG is RnG. I’m on my 12th game with another one. I plan on only buying one at a time since they are expensive to stack.

(Backuplight) #11

I have a rage post to make! Brace yourselves.

I’ve been playing loads since the event started - dropped 100k credits instantly, bought shinies, bought a couple of stacks, played loads of games! No case. I was completely OK with this until my wife decided she wanted to check out the event and got a Nader loadout from our first game.

Fuck that bitch. I mean… “congrats honey”. :rage:

Another example of people who fail to grasp the concept of RNG.

(Randomdeath) #13

I fully understand randomization. For example I just had 2 silvers lying around. One was a G85 hurricane for AImee. So i played a few matches and got a normal equipment case. Yay! Random silver for Sawbones!! I had 3 silvers now. I decided to trade IN and get a better silver AImee. Guess what? My luck ended at the Sawbones drop and i got another G82 hurricane. I understand that the game claims that you can get the same loadout if you trade in like that but this has happened to me for 4 bronze cards. Im never trading in like that again, simply because the rng is this game is really bad. Its bad because its not really random, its bugged as hell. So its ever so slightly consistent… You know your RANDOM number generator is shit if its CONSISTENT

(Wolven) #14

I’m starting to feel the same way. I traded up quite a few led and iron cards to get some Amiee bronze cards, and I got the same bronze (F82) card FOUR times in a row. Now what are the odds…?

(Randomdeath) #15

The same grandeur thing thats happening with Aimee right now, is happening with Fletcher and the Blishlok… I keep getting Blish cards left and right, and its rare to get one with a shotgun…

(neverplayseriou) #16

@Wolven I traded in 2 skyhammers and 1 bamboo gold sparks and got the exact same (same loadout, same skin) back for sparks, now that’s some lucky rng >.>

0.01341% chance of playing 25 matches at a 30% chance and not getting any. Unlikely, but not impossible by any means

(Randomdeath) #19

@RyePanda Im not the brightest person in the world… So would you like to explain the point of that comment please? I am not trying to be salty or anything, but it happened and thats that…

(LifeupOmega) #20

I’m only going to 5 per case, not worth it to go higher tbh.
