Carb for up close spray and pray, Bulpdaun for range and accuracy. Set each up to be the opposite of the other and have the best of both worlds.

All the weapons have a benefit and weaknesses. Finding what suits your playstyle is the best way to go. I don’t recommend getting overly used to any particular weapon, as it makes it tougher to switch to another weapon later on.

If you run a light character then you are going to be limited to SMGs and Pistols. I have recently went back to a medium and have been enjoying the AR’s again. I cant stand the speed of the heavy so I have yet to even utilize the heavy weapons at all.

Bulpdaun has fewer rounds than Kross and is almost the same in terms of accuracy, power, range and recoil. So in reality, just pick whatever suits you.

Tampa\Carb for cqc or Kross/Bulpdaun for range.

In terms of damage and accuracy there aint really that much difference between the two. Yes The Carb does more damage and the Bulpdaun is more accurate but what really makes the difference is the magazines you can use.

The Carb 9 allows you to have a drum magazine which will allow you to have 60rounds in a clip while the Bulpdaun will only let you use the high capacity or the duct tape magazines. This is the deal breaker for me when considering the Bulpaun over the Carb 9. If you want to take on multiple enemies over a sustained period of time then the Carb-9 with a drum magazie is the way to go.

Depends on your play style, if you don’t mind a small clip and not much ammo in total the Bulpdaun is a great tool to have in your arsenal. Honestly I don’t use the Carb at all not that it’s a bad weapon but I just don’t like the way it looks or sounds as weird as that is. I have three different characters and I use all different weapons for each, and not one uses the carb. But that’s just my opinion man make up your own mind by doing some test runs on your own.

I’d rather use the Bulpdaun any day. Throw a Greeneye, brake and foregrip on it, and you can throw out volleys of bullets at mid-range and sometimes pick up a kill or two. It’s definitely the only SMG that has any degree of reliability beyond close range.

Bulpdaun? Really? It’s alreadygot the huge disadvantage of low ammo capacity and no drum mags.

I like the bulpdaun when playing a light as a primary and the carb for a backup as a medium or heavy.

Enjoy both these weapons for different reasons.
Bulpdaun feels more stable and effective mid/long range.
Carb9 i prefer for engaging groups due to drum mag.

My usage comparison.
Bulpdaun SMG 10 hrs 16 min 32%accuracy. 274,750damage. 980kills. 40,887xp.
CARB-9 SMG 12 hrs 45 min 28%accuracy. 480,477damage. 2,140kills. 87,164xp.

Although i do like Tampa and Galactic too and thery’re also worth trying.:wink:

But why, when I watch Brink TV for instance, is everybody running around whith the Carb 9 and the light type?

I thought its a joke but during that 30 minute match, there were CARB 9 frags ONLY, not a single one with nade or something… And, no, it was NOT a CARB 9 only game.

For my understanding: If you play League (ESL, TWL, whatever), CARB 9 ist the weapon of choice cause its slightly overpowered.

Thats why I hope they put a small nerf on that. But I am sure SD is working, cause they are seeing that and the other issues (Heavy Char etc.) as well, I guess…
