Domination is a great mode to disguise the fact you don’t give a shit about objective. Deathmatch randomly and you can alway say you’re an asset to the team.
Capture the Flag mode
that could apply to any mode. If you have a >3 k/d (and a decent amount of kills) you are likely an asset to your team. It only takes one person to do objective, but it takes a whole team to kill the entire enemy team first.
Domination is a perfect balance of attack/defend with roaming&map control. I can hardly think of any other FPS that would suit domination better.
SD should really focus on their core game mode and maps. If the population change in Australia is anything like the rest of the world DB has taken a large hit in player base over the past 6 weeks. Many I know that have left blame the lack of maps and aren’t interested in other game modes like execution. With Overwatch going open beta in a week I hope SD are feeling pressured to bring the gold otherwise the DB player base is going to become even leaner.
Core game > fluff.
CtF would be fun, and wouldn’t be that difficult apart from creating a map either with the sample objectives in the game anyway

A game mode with symmetrical bases would be really fun. Could be Capture the Milk Jug (or whatever those datacore/drug samples are) or 2 bases that can be blown up with C4, in fact the same maps could be used for these modes with minor alterations.
I’ve always hated CTF because it paints a bulls-eye on your back as soon as you’re carrying the flag, while at the same time is just favours flag spawn camping gameplay. It’s just not fun to me.
I would really love to see an assault the fortress kind of mode, in a similar way of Planetside 2’s base capture, but of course on a smaller scale.
Just imagine a less narrow map, but instead more square like, with multiple entry ways to a single central destruction objective. Add a bunch of secondary doors with their corresponding generators, destructible static bushwhacker turrets that can be fully repaired for defensive purposes and multiple forward spawn points along the offensive process.
I’d just love to see that happen first.
