can't reload etmain pak0,pak3

when i change servers or even try to start et i get message "cannot load etmain pak0 pak3 have tried deleting file and reloading, tried deleting and reloading et, but nothing helps, only started happening in the last month

my et crashes everytime i switch servers it says " cannot reload etmain pak0 pak3 i have tried deleting and reinstalling et,the 2.60 patch, and updating punkbuster but same thing i got to exit et completely by hitting ctrl,alt,delete,then rejoining send reply to mr_pibb@wowway.com

How do you “switch servers” ?
