Cant host a server

Whenever I click the button to host a server in ET, the game freezes up and then crashes.

delete all the campaign pk3s

What are the campaign pk3s and what would deleting them do?

There is a bug with ET. If you have too many .pk3 files you cannot host a server.

You may have to move some custom maps out as well.

Look for small files with a .pk3 extension in your ETmain folder.

But don’t delete/move these ones:

astro-skies.pk3
common.pk3
lights.pk3
mapmedia.pk3
mp_bin.pk3
pak0.pk3
pak1.pk3

They come with the game…

I don’t have any of those, so I assume they did not come with the game. :eek:

OK those ones must be installed with the Radiant level editor. My bad!

So
mp_bin.pk3
pak0.pk3
pak1.pk3
shouldn’t be deleted then, as far as I know.

You shouldn’t delete the other ones, either, if you want to use radiant. :banana:
