if u havent got anything usefull 2 post, dont post it…

Only thing ur doing now is trolling… :bash:

(Sauron|EFG) #9

Troll spotted! :bash:

IRT diaper:
OK, apparently it’s not a connection problem, which means that it’s probably a problem with ET. I would try creating a new profile, and if that doesn’t work then reinstall ET… :???:

(diaper eater) #10

hmm i alreaddy reinstalled, ill try a new profile

(mouse) #11

lmao!

aww cmon anyone have ideas im dying to play, been 3 days, I NEED MY FIX

What is the error that ET gives you? You can see it when you try to connect and then pull down the console (` key, left of the 1 key most of the time).

(fAAt) #12

So did this work? Let us know

Also, if uninstall/reinstall doesn’t work, make sure you DELETE the folder/directory that ET was originally in after you uninstall the game, since uninstalling still leaves some crap behind.

Either that or you can install the game to a different directory than before. Either way works.

(diaper eater) #13

ok i completely uninstalled and deleted everything, reinstalled, and got the same thing, and now rtcw wont work either, so i think its something to do with my connecting screwing with things

(ETplayer) #14

u behind a firewall or a router ?

(SJ_Frankenstein) #15

Good call ETPlay!

If you are behind either one of those you may have to open up the ports of the router/firewall in order to connect.

Hope that helps…

(mouse) #16

So?

(diaper eater) #17

ive been using a linksys router, have been for 3 years, and suddenly its not letting me play, the only thing that can be reason for this spontaneous stuff was when the power went out, before it went out i could play, after it came back on i wasnt able to

and theres no errors, it just says

hmm

ok rofl i opened et to see what it says in console, something like connecting to authorize at pbauth.idsoftware.com or something

AND IT WORKED NOW WOOOHOOOO!

(mouse) #18

lol! glad to help you
