Can't activate tank MG

I read the manual, says to climb on tank, hit enter or F. No good. I see the hand icon, but can’t activate the gun. I tried crouching, prone, etc. What am I doing wrong? Is this restricted to class? I tried as a soldier.

Dont climb on the tank
It happens to me sometimes you have to stand on floor and press your “ACTIVATE” key which is F by default, it also opens door (so you got right key if you can open doors)

P.S any class can use

Sorry, what do you mean by the “floor”, you mean the well the gun sits in?

you should walk to a tank, dont climb on it, just stand next to it.
aim at the tank and see if the use icon pops up ( the hand - icon)
when it shows press the use/activate key (default F) and voila, your riding the tank.

I think he meant stand on the ground next to the tank.

Also, make sure that there isn’t someone already using the gun.

  1. Go near the tank, stand beside or ontop of it.
  2. When you see the hand symbol, press activate (the key you use for opening doors).
  3. Voila, you in.
    When standing ontop of the tank it can be difficult to find a position where the hand icon appears, so the easiest way to enter the tank is from the side.

Hmm this isnt a trick…

I mean THE FLOOR
also known as Planet, Earth, ground, dirt, grass, sand, stone, road, etc

In other words DONT TOUCH the tank, just stand next to it and look at it… you should see a hand symbol apear and then press USE KEY (also known as door opening button, MG gun grabber, Gun picker uperra etc)

If not then i recommend hours of training and Dedication and hopefully with in a few months you should be able to pull it off… but only if you put the effort in, i recommend between 6-8 hours, 6 days a week for 1 maybe 2 months with no Distractions from Girlfriends…
