can we skip all the cinematic at the begining of battle ?

I want this to be removed, just because when a match starts from a lobby and I take a little bit longer that usual to load in (on the actual loading screen) it makes it so that I have to wait an extra 10 seconds to actually spawn in.

I wanted to be able to skip this since the first time I saw it. Some instructions on the loading screen would work just as well. There isn’t even a need for a cinematic, just let us run around while stuff loads in, it would be infinitely amusing.

Not everyone’s computer loads as fast as others, this is completely necessary to avoid people getting tossed into a match then not being able to play properly due to then having to load all the in game assets while in a live match. (advantage would always be towards the person with the best PC in that case)

Its like 15 seconds, its really not that big a deal.

imo there is no reason why we shouldnt be able to spec my teammates while stuff is loading on my end. id mich rather watch buggy skins and blue figures running around than being stuck for 15 seconds for a 1000+ time

I agree. I can’t tell you how many times I am late to the start of the match because this “intro” started late so I’m not there to help my team in the vital first few seconds. (specifically on EV maps) I like @Szakalot 's idea where I can just skip that and spectate as stuff loads in. I’d prefer that as opposed to the same intro again and again.

How about this: Make an option to turn it off in the settings and have it enabled by default.
This way people with slower PCs could leave it on to help them, while people who don’t like it can leave it on.
Or how about this: Make it so that the match doesn’t start until everyone from the lobby has loaded in. Sure, the people with faster PCs would have to wait longer, but maybe cap it at 30? Or is it already capped? IDK if someone could tell me that I would appreciate it.

The game can still wait for everyone to load in to start. But don’t have a cinematic for this, just let players run around and kill each other, then reset everyone to start the match when it’s ready.

surely you are interested in balanced games where your teammates are already ready, rather than trying to hold off attack on your own while teammates are afk and loading?

Thats already how it works… lol
But eventually the game needs to start. So the 15 second starting cinematic allows any late joiners to at least have a chance to load everything as the match is going live.

The game not only has to slowly load in people with bad PC’s but also players who are connected need to stream in those assets slow to try not and cause FPS drops on connection…which still happens when new players connect anyway even if you are running a good PC.

I can hear the sound of the guns firing and dropping ammo pack and a vassili shooting while I was watching this shit, my character is in the game and I am already spawn + can MOVE.

Yes. But letting me wait for a minute because 1 guy has a bad PC is a shitty solution to “balance”.
