It’s Buddy Christ of course from the holywood blockbuster that is Dogma (lol), I’ve actually got a model of him atop my monitor for moments when I need inspiration or maybe even salvation
Are you trying to say I stole it from Piggy?

oh yeah i forgot to say some extra stuff.
My graphics card is a S3 prosavage DDR…thats is probibaly why
dont start me with formatting coz i thought something was wrong with my tower because people said my computer shouldn’t restart if i click to play a game. so i phoned the compnay i bought the computer from and they agreed and they gave me a brand new tower, with the same everythings as my old 1… so i put ET onto it and clicked to play. then bingo it works, it works a full month with no problems then suddenly it starts to make my computer restart ONLY if i click to play ET. my comp doesnt restart with anything else.
as i said last time…the final straw was when i clicked to play the game, as usual my computer restarted itself, when i went back on, some very very important files had disappeared, my firewall lost some files so i couldnt download new virus definitions, then my computer crashed.
Just incase your asking…the stuff in my computer as as follows (that i know of)
AMD Athlon XP 2200 processor
S3 ProSavage DDR graphics card
40Gb hard drive
512mb RAM (not positive on that)
1mb Broadband connection
I think its my graphics card coz it doesnt have it in the requirments
TY for your help
I am probably totally off here but it might be something that has been slipped onto your computer. If it was playing fine for a month then it couldn’t be your grafix card, that would have become obvious right away. You may have accidentally got a virus on your computer, and I’m not exactly sure why but it might effect the game. Well it’s probably not a virus, but whatever it is it’s not your grafix card if it’s been running for a month without any flickering or anything.
…the computer I use to play ET is a store-bought Dell. Nothing special, nothing expensive. No add ons, or anything. I also play ET without any config screw-arounds etc. Try getting a new computer, you can get some $500 ones from any local hardware store…
OR maybe you have a ton of PK3 files…
Hmmmmmm no that you’ve said that i did notice a lot of PK3 files.
What are they, and what can i do?
Oh yeah if it was a virus, my firewall etc would pick it up coz i scan my computer once a week.
