Bushwack is cancer

I don’t know how this can be fixed but I have absolutely had it with Bushwack.

He is absolute cancer while being on free rotation.

I only play 6v6 matches or competitive so I know this isn’t an over sized match issue. It’s just ridiculous the number of matches I have see where the team has been mostly made up of Bushwacks and other objective classes since he has gone on rotation. The DPS of his turret is already ridiculous and playing against 3 of them is absolutely miserable. Please fix this because I know I’m not the only one that has a problem with this.

Well it isn’t just him…playing against a bunch of many characters can be annoying…think it’s fun with 3 or 4 naders spamming grenades on you? Think it’s fun facing a wall of Rhinos? A bunch of Skyhammers constantly shutting your EV down?

It isn’t something just related to Bush…

Nader is bothering me it’s quite annoying having 4 naders (that have never even heard of a primary weapon) trying to shoot you…

I have seen less smoke at a weed smoking convention than I saw in game during Redeye’s rotation, and it was aggravating the misery of every corner trying to blow me the fuck up between revive-chains during that same rotation. The complaints on this very forum about all-Vassili teams are the stuff of fucking legends.

It’s hard to learn what a Merc does and how they play when everyone else is trying to do the same to the same three, and it’s an artificial limitation on gameplay variety.

A team of Bushwhackers is an absolute defensive hulk. There should be limitations to the stacking of any merc. I went up against a team of almost full Naders, do you know how it feels to have 20 Nades shot at you at once? I do.

That’s why i am against the free rotations. Instead every player should get the trial on the mercs, that allows him to be used for 1-3 days.

Those games are the antithesis of fun. The upside is, beating these “teams” are some of the easier wins I’ve gotten in DB.

playing as defense vs a team of 6 vassilis was fun tho.
guess who won :tongue:
even funnier when 3 of the vassilis raged and blamed balance.

but this free rotation needs to be changed.
personal free rotation, trial for each merc or a private training ground with all unlocked vs bots are all better solutions than the free rotation we have today.

Don’t worry. For every match with 6 Bushwhackers on defense you will get one with 6 Vassilis on attack :smiley:

Unless RNG screws you and you’re on the wrong side every time… :cold_sweat:

One solution for all those problems:

Cooldown penalties for each next iteration of the same merc!

One skyhammer? Airstrike every 70 seconds.
Two skyhammers? Airstrike every 80 seconds , for both of them.
etc.

Same with turrets, nades, etc. etc.

Few exceptions where it would not apply: vassili, rhino; but these are hardly ever a big deal. Lots of vassilis is usually a problem for your team, rather than something difficult to overcome.

Turrets are very easy to counter especially with grenades (which is why we got nader in the same rotation.
Personally merc stack isn’t that powerful, if a team is full of combat mercs for example it may be tuff to dispatch but it will miss healing,ammo, artillery and such.
Learn the weak points of every merc and you won’t have any problems with those merc-stacks.

Guy on my team said on chat that he couldn’t stop laughing while playing Underground and saw me first run into that tunnel next to yellow tunnel with Nader…in a second I was
running the other way three opponent Naders running behind me and spamming uncontrollably. :smiley:

Should have seen that from outside, sounds like Trigger Happy.

Yes, free rotation does cause these, it doesn’t really matter what is the character.

Personally I find Bushwack to be the most frustrating because it’s double the guns to deal with and its that much more to account for when it comes to traversing the map.

That being said, I will admit that I am probably biased because I main in fast/squishy classes like Sparks and Proxy that cannot kill a turret by brute force like a Nader, Sawbones, etc.
