Bushwacker by himself has a pretty lackluster ability. I can’t find any purpose for it, even after 100 hours ingame, I just don’t see it happening.
However, Engineer is always useful to the team, and the top KEK is also the best SMG in the game (open to discussion). And in a 5v5, there won’t be nearly as many explosive classes to take down a turret. Of course he still sucks in pubs.

IMO, Bushwhacker is more useful as an offensive class than an engineer, if you place his turrets in good spots that have good protection and wide coverage, you can assist the turret and get LOADS of kills.
Those who don’t think Bushie Bush isn’t useful, I have three words. Carriage on Trainyard. So many defenders think they’re going for a squishy on objective and tunnel-vision right past my turret.
