Bunny Hopping issue

I agree but it makes me slow. I do it every now and then when I’m in an even firefight and I want to give myself some sort of advantage but I find that my WASDing and wall jumping does a better job.

but you found out, so my post was not completely unreadable
For ppl that are whining about jumping crouching and moving during the gunfight, go play “fistful of frags”. there you need to stop before you shoot or your accuracy is 1%

Bunny hopping shotgun Medics, a bad thing. I guess it appeals to COD:AW wall jumpers.

I suppose coming from SF2 makes me pretty used to this tactic, where it’s used all the time by snipers, but I guess it is a bit different when ar’s are doing it and whatnot.

Anyways, like people have mentioned, just predict where they’re going. I mean, in most circumstances, they’ll be moving in little more than 8 general directions. I can see where extreme CQC would make this difficult, though.

it definitely appeals to quake players : )

edit:
you will see less ‘bunnyhopping’ once the remaining mercs come into play. Many mercs have abilities that deal with area denial, which can greatly reduce the mobility of Proxy/Aura.

For example, Stoker: he can throw a molotov grenade that deals damage over time in a small area, if you catch a light merc in it: they are dead. As a little bonus, if you manage to throw the grenade at them directly, its an instant kill.

This isn’t Call of Duty or Battlefield. Movement is part of the game. Dirty Bomb is not a hyperrealistic FPS. If you think a game where you can take 12 bullets to the chest (or more than ONE to the head) is trying to be remotely realistic, you are daft. The devs have chosen gameplay mechanics that they and other people have found FUN.

You’re getting called a scrub because instead of adapting to the game’s intended challenges, you’re on the forum whining for changes. You’re not even using the term “bunnyhopping” correctly!

Learn to aim. Get better at the game. Jump around! If it works on you, it will work on other noobs too.
