Bugs and possible improvements..

Okies, first up, this just isn’t my list, it’s the Aussie ET peeps making a list…soooooo

Bug:
-No Stats for Akimbo pistols
-Stats carried over round for some people
-Average accuracy tallies - incorrect?
-beach map, going down the ladder of the hatch in the middle of the Axis base can cause an instagib
-If you swap your Rifle (eng class) for a MP40/Thompson and then back to rifle - you lose all your rifle grenades
-Reloading sometimes doesn’t work - like theres lag from multiple comands being entered (jumping etc)
-Pack physics, they seem to go to you sometimes when your giving them to a stationary team-mate.
-MG42 (mobile) deployment, can put you in the wrong direction, can take a while to respond to the command, movement also inhibited by near by units (feature?).
-Akimbo pistols don’t default always - should make it so you don’t have to select them in limbo.

Possible Improvements:
-Cvar to remove the ‘head’ from HUD
-Revive icon above corpses needs to be more noticable (brighter red/larger)
-Cvar for map zoom level held over between maps (not a biggy, but a pain)
-Packs cannot be given to players running in front (like in RtcW)
-Cvar to choose between having the compass where it is now, and bottom centre (RtCW)
-Have ‘dumb class’ cvar - ie make another variable (default) for the ‘team’ portion. That way if you don’t put in a team it defaults your class change to the team you are currently on (simplistic, for the scripters).
-Speed up the console messages so they are the same speed as RTCW
-Have a permanent warning over a Covert Ops head (like a medic/ammo call) rather than the huge circle that blocks out an enemy near by.

I second that. I would much rather have a small helmet icon - something unobtrusive. The head serves no purpose other than to show whether or not you’ve lost you’re helmet - which in itself is somewhat pointless as there is nothing you can do about it anyway. It’s not like you can put on someone else’s or sink your head into your shoulders to avoid being headshot.

-Packs cannot be given to players running in front (like in RtcW)

This is only partially true - you can do it, but you have to be right on their tail now because the packs don’t fly as far. This is probably also the reason why sometimes you give yourself the pack when trying to give to a stationary teammate.

One extra bug (feature?) - If you manually select a spawnpoint in stopwatch mode, when the round restarts, you still have that spawn point instead of the default starting point. Can be annoying when you respawn far from the action because of short warmup times/forgot to change it back.

i like that idea, i am really affraid of going in enemy disguise because my own team will just TK me…

Hope they will do this, cheers :drink:

It would be nice if you could pick up yours or someone elses helmet, just as long as it was your teams (or if disguised the enemy teams).
