do splash damage/pbuster know there’s a bug where u can do air support in the bank? havnt worked it out myself but i’ve seen ppl do it and had it done to me…

Should be fixed in the 1.0.1/1.0.2 patch as well, not sure which.

Everything that we said was fixed in the patches WAS fixed as far as we had tested it, Michael, we don’t just make up stuff to put in that list. I could easily spam the inside of the bank with stock ET, but am unable to in the patched version. There were many other bugs i also fixed which weren’t even included in the fix list.

AFAIK, it’s no longer possible to airstrike inside the bank in the 1.02/2.56 patch, but it is possible to FFE inside the bank if you aim in just the right place (from the outside.)

You can still do it in ET. I have found it quite a bit harder than RTCW, though a quick look at the code didn’t give me any obvious reason for this…

yeah u can do it but it’s damn hard cos u have to be more pin point and be on it pretty much as it hits the ground

I find that the easiest way to block an airstrike is to prone on it (longer hitbox) and stare straight down, centering the airstrike canister in your view.

I’m curious, what other things were “fixed” in the 1.0.2 patch?

Gotta watch tho, when your proning on the canister i’ve had a few times (usually Oasis, Axis Spawn @ Guns) that when it blows under you it shoots you up in air still prone and you kinda belly flop and fall to death. o_O
