Recently there were found some bugs (go here and here) in Half-Life, that can be used for DoS-Attacks, crashing the server/client etc. Does anyone know if this can happen with ET too? Or can I send a v53 (“The enemy is weakend!”) to all Half-Life players?

afaik this can’t happen with ET
ET is based on the Q3 engine (though heavily altered).
Half life uses a different engine (partly Q2 engine if i’m not mistaking) so they are not the same.

Afaik Valve know these problems since April or so. But ET uses a similar connection routine. So I wonder if you can cause a buffer overflow within ET in a similar way.
