Match was fun (and shock/horror, I actually played instead of just watching!) and it was a victory for the Benelux. We played Sewer and Salvage and both maps were won by the Benelux.

Thanks for the game Japan and thanks to OCB for organizing this. I’ll be a couch potato from now on though :slight_smile: .

I know there has been lot’s of conversation about decider and i was one who was against it. Now i have played it myself and i understand what admins meant when they said that people are tired after two intense and close maps (like our sewer and salvage were) and people don’t have time to play whole night third stopwatch map. I know that i was tired after those maps and unfortunately our team didnt have any spare players, so we could have swapped them for the tired players (sucks to be small country :frowning: )

I hope volcano (or salvage) will be the decider map in future also, because these two inf maps are well balanced and both sides have equal chances to win. Maps with vehicles are always unbalanced for other side and are too dependent on flyer/vehicle skills.

Sides is not have equal chances to win… Defender side can’t do team-mystakes, one team-mystake = lose objective for defenders. For attackers one team-mystake = try again after few seconds, and again, and again…They have 20 mins, its realy a lot of time. Your decider rule is not nice and not fair… Attackers side everytime on every map have much more chances for win…
Poland vs France for example. Score 2-2, decider is Volcano. Poland on defence, France attacking. Poland was defend 19 mins and lose match… What a lol…With normal competition stopwatch mode,they had GREAT chances for make attack action faster that 19 mins, and win the game.
Do not really understand why the organizers had to mutilate the rules created specifically for the competitive part .
Sry for my english, i hope its can be understood.

Yeah. Bronto has right. Decider map should be played on normal stopwatch mode.
However, two equal teams (Finland, Poland, France) spend almost one hour with one map (including warm-up).
So 3 maps = 3 hours.
It`s very tiredly(? english).

Thx Yumi 4 good game. We really thought, that we loose it. Luck toss of coin on decider map, made Volcano easiest for us than Your tem.
I hope next year, we will meet in this cup again and Your team won`t draw Canadians in 1st round (year ago, that same :frowning: ).
They really hard oponent on start.
