guys i have a gateway zx4300 desktop. Do you think it will even be able to run Brink?

AMD Athlon II x2 dual core 235e processor
Integrated ATI Radeon Hd 4270 graphics
4gigs Ram

That’s not a desktop, that’s a like a hybrid taking the worst of both types. It’s basically a laptop you can’t move anywhere. It uses no desktop components so it can’t be upgraded. This was never intended as a gaming machine, it’s a kitchen/home office computer for a woman who didn’t want a laptop and couldn’t afford the imac.

That’s a pretty rough way to say “your computer can’t run games” haha.
Anyway try this, run a id tech 4 engine game, most are old so they are basically what Brink will be except with lower resolution textures and less fancy effects. If you can run a game like Quake 4 perfectly you should be able to do the same with Brink on low settings, or at least come close to it because it’s hard to say how Brink will run and what effects it will use.

hey it isn’t my fault. I have no control over what my parents get as the home comp. plus I am too flippin cheap for a laptop. hmmmm. my computer has no trouble runnin the game Breach on high graphics , I am not a genius on graphics, how good are breach’s graphics?
