brink will run?

You should be able to run Brink on low - also, you will most likely be able to further turn off graphic options via configs, making it possible to get even more FPS at the expense of eyecandy.
I am too flippin cheap for a laptop.

my computer has no trouble runnin the game Breach on high graphics
A laptop won’t net you anything for gaming.

I have never heard of that game but it has poor ratings and low requirements. A computer from 5 years ago could run it is why. Glancing at screenshots it looks even older than UT2k4 era graphics.

HD 4270
Ugly and stuttering is not the way to game. It will look like RTCW did on high at 640x480. At that point just play the older game, at least it will be fluid.

Why not…he wants to play the game. Will it run? Will he be able to play it? That is the question. The proper response SOUNDS like not to the high standard that others will have, but yes it would run but at a much lower standard.

Since this other guy can pretty much chew you down and call you a woman…you should listen to him? I dunno, he has a cowboy hat in his avatar and the most well known actor in the Wild Wild West that secretly wanted to be a NINJA…cause it made perfect sense.

Having your reaction times cut in half is not playable, and that is essentially what 20 or less FPS will do. It’s not the graphics that were referred to, its the low framerate he would sustain.

(SIiced Bread) #25

Will it run? that was the question and someone else answered him without having to refer to his setup as a woman in the kitchens PC. Degrading if you were female…funny if you are an adolescent boy. Not needed if you are a mature grown adult.

Oh, please. You’re just here to argue. There’s only been like a hundred of these threads. No more room for tact.

My friend had a crappy computer and while I forgot what game he played he used to console to turn off almost every possible visual effect. The game ran for him but it looked pretty terrible.

Worst case scenario, use the console.

(Crytiqal) #28

You mean like the Xbox and PS3?

(crazyfoolish) #29

And you’re not?

I thought that arguing was the whole point of this forum

well i really dont care about look, I think that morrowind, or the older games can beat down on the new games with the good graphics. if its playable ill get it, nothing can stop me. not even the cowboy hat man, though the stache almost stopped me. Plus I will agree with the cowboy hat man. this computer is pretty pathetic, it was 700 bucks after all.

I don’t care either way as you’re supporting the game, but it would be wise to listen the “cowboy”. If you have one of the two current console, buy it for that. That way, your hopes aren’t crushed and your not out 50-60$.
